Privacy Policy

This page lays out what CBTNG collects when you visit and what we do with it, in plain terms. Last updated October 2026.

The short version

You can use the whole site without an account. We do not use tracking cookies and we do not sell data. We keep basic, anonymous stats on which pages get read, and if you comment or message us, we keep what you send.

Visit stats

When a page loads, we record which page it was, roughly where the visit came from (a search engine, a social link, or direct), your device type and your country. To count readers without identifying them, your IP address is passed through a one way scramble that resets every day. The real IP is never stored and no cookie is set for this.

Comments

If you leave a comment, we save the name and email you enter along with the message. Your name and comment can appear publicly once we review them. Your email stays private and is only used if we need to reply to you.

Messages you send

Anything sent through the contact form lands in our inbox so we can get back to you. We keep those messages only while they are useful.

Ads

If we run ads to cover costs, networks such as Google AdSense may use their own cookies to pick ads and measure how they do. That is their system rather than ours, and you can switch off personalised ads in your Google account or your browser.

Outside services

Some pages load fonts or scripts from Google, so their servers receive the usual request details such as your IP and browser type needed to deliver those files. What they do with that is governed by Google.

Your choices

• Read everything without giving us any personal detail.
• Clear or block cookies in your browser whenever you want.
• Ask us to remove a comment or message you sent, and we will.

Students under 18

Many of our readers are still in secondary school, and the site is made with them in mind. We do not knowingly collect anything beyond the basics above from anyone, whatever their age. Parents who want a comment or message taken down can reach us and we will handle it.

Updates

If any of this changes, we will update this page and the date at the top. Anything major will be clear.
